In September 2003 Ian graduated from the United Bicycle Institute Professional Repair and Shop Operation Course in Ashland, Oregon. Following his return Ian has been developing gearsandtears.tech with the aim of providing a truly professional bike repair, service and upgrade facility at very competitive rates.
gearsandtears.tech is now open for business and two levels of bike service are available: standard £50 and professional £75.
Standard Service
Checking/ adjusting: bearings; brakes; fasteners; gears and wheels. Your bike will also be cleaned.
Professional Service
The Standard Service plus :
Additional Adjustments/ Service: bottom bracket, headset and hubs and New brake and gear cables and housing and new brake pads. Plus a full valet for your bike!
In addition to servicing bikes gearsandtears.tech can build you the wheels of your dreams, repair specific faults and give your bike the upgrade of your desires. Even if you prefer to look after your bike yourself we can help source the part you want at the price that’s right for you.
