Monsterman® III
Saturday 14th February 2009
This years Monsterman III will take place on the same site as MMI and use the course that has for the past 2 years been used for the Series finale.
You can expect a rolling multi-lap run and a good mix of single track, fire trails, mud 'n' stuff on the bike.The course is classified 'MM' by the management!

Race Classification
Multi Lap Mayhem
This race has been classified Multi-Lap Mayhem - Bike leg in the style of a track circuit for up close and personal bike racing.
The Run Leg
There will be a mass start on the first run leg. Each run leg comprises three laps and follows the perimeter track of the site. You can look forward to a relatively flat run, taking in a bit of mud, a few puddles and some nice soft sandy bits!
The Transition
The transition will be clearly marked and there will be a clear entry and exit point. You must dismount before entering the transition zone and can only mount your bike when clear of the transition area. Both mount and dismount lines will be clear and pointed out to you during the race briefing. There will be ample purpose built racking for all and plenty of space for kit etc.
The Cycle Leg
The course has been designed to try and create a circuit race 'feel' i.e. some close, fast racing and involves multiple laps. We will do our best to record everyone's number of laps but the onus is on you to keep count. The course is undulating and involes a mix of single track and wide firetracks.
