Race Classification

Fast and Furious

Race Certiciate - Fast and Furious

This race has been classified "Fast 'n' Furious", a multi-lap event with no major climbs.

The Run Leg

There will be a mass start on the first run leg, with competitors exiting the transition/ car park area on a wide ‘paved’ track. This develops into an unsurfaced track that skirts the edge of several fields. The run continues in this vein for its duration. The run comprises 3 laps. The run itself is flat, but if there has been any rain prior to race day there is potential for some of the tracks to become very boggy. You have been warned!

The Transition

The transition zone is in the NW corner of the car park. There will be ample purpose built racking for all and plenty of space for kit etc.

The Cycle Leg

This has been designed to offer something for everyone, from the novice mountain biker to the more experienced mud plugger. There is a full range of terrain from wide fast fire tracks to some more technical single track and a few climbs that could pose traction issues for those that push big gears rather than spin.

"Great event on Saturday - lived up to the billing! The friendliness of volunteer marshals and the competitors themselves gave it a really good atmosphere"

"Thanks for a most excellent event, great idea, there should be more like this. See you at the next one."
