For many months I have been developing an idea for a new 'race' format based around 3 loops flowing from a central hub. Yesterday a group of friends helped me test the inaugural route in & around the Devil's Punchbowl, near Hindhead, Surrey.

Runners & helpers were blessed with sunshine & blue skies. The runners themselves worked their way around the 3 loops (3m, 6m, & 9m) providing me with some valuable feedback on the development status of the route, route cards etc. Hopefully they also enjoyed the trails, views & company.

Mark Hines posted the quickest time of those who completed the full course in his normal relaxed & amiable way, but yesterday was about much more than times.

There is still some work to do but Run639 will be coming ......
